Ronaldinho has leapt to the defence of his former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi and offered his complete support to the Argentinian.
Speculation about the No. 10's future is rife after a court decision to hand Messi and his father a suspended jail sentence for tax offences.
"He's the best player in the world and it's difficult to see him in crisis," said the Brazilian legend.

He also lamented that fact that Messi has decided to leave the Argentine national team after losing in the Copa America final.
"Messi has made his decision," he continued. "It's a sad moment because he is still the best, but regardless I will always be by his side."
The Brazilian is currently without a club although he has yet to hang up his boots after leaving Fluminense.
Nevertheless, the Blaugrana legend has reiterated his desire to continue playing and is considering all options available.
"I'm not sure which team I'm going to retire at yet," he said.

Meanwhile, Ronaldinho has found time to encouraging local children to enjoy their football and follow their dreams, and believes that sport played a major part in his upbringing.
"I came from the favelas and sport, football mainly, saved my life," he concluded.
